Mr. David Mayo, 62, of Ashburn passed away Friday, March 27 at his residence following an extended illness. At this time, due to the State of Health Emergency that we are now facing, all services will be private.
The son of the late Charles Franklin Mayo and Shelby Ward, he was born in Ashburn and was a self employed carpenter as a trim specialist. He was of the Baptist faith. A loving father and grandfather he loves cars especially model cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step mother, Yvonne Mayo and brothers Lynol Mayo and Ricky Nelson. Survivors include his children, David Tommy Mayo of Vienna, GA and Nashae (Matt Wehner) Mayo of Pavo; his significant other Bonnie Brown of Ashburn and his grandchildren, Michael David Mayo and Ashley Morgan Mayo. He is also survived by his step siblings, Leigh Harper and Jamie Nelson both of Warwick, GA and his nieces Merenda Harper, Deidra Powell, Haley Nelson and Elaina Giddens. Memorial services will be held at a later time and place to be announced. | ||||
