Rita N. (Guarino) Porcaro, of Medford, passed away on Monday, March 23rd. She was 89. Born in Bangor, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Umberto and Antoinetta (Parisi) Guarino.

Rita loved to spend time with her family. She especially loved her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Rita had a caring disposition and a heart of gold. She would help anyone in need; there was no one she would turn away. When Rita was not spending time with her family she loved to travel. She was a devoted wife, a loving sister and the best aunt. She will be greatly missed.

Rita was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Porcaro. She was the dear sister of Olga Reed, Albert Guarino, and the late Theresa Baldassarre and Maria Guarino. She was the loving aunt of Jamie Guarino, Ron Reed, Lisa Perry, Karen Theberge, Albert Baldassarre, Sandra Guarino and the late Joseph Baldassarre. Rita was the great aunt of Dylan, Zack, Colin, Brianna, Kate, Nicholas, Anthony, Veronica, Dante, Derek and Sophia.

Rita's funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations may be sent in Rita's name to Saint Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, MA 02155
