Harrington, Daniel J. “Red” of West Roxbury formerly of Taughmaconnell, County Roscommon Ireland passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on March 11, 2020. Son of the late William and Winifred (Harney) Harrington. Beloved husband of 52 years to Margaret M. "Peggy" (O’Sullivan). Loving father of Kathy Bear and her partner Nick, Margaret Lake and her husband Greg, Maureen Bruen and her husband Kevin, Donna Coppinger and her husband Ed and Karen Feeney and her husband Jimmy all of West Roxbury. Devoted Papa of Maggie, Kaitlyn, Shane, Kyle, Kevin, Chris, Emma, Steve, Ryan, Timmy, Ava, Keira, Niamh, Daniel, Maeve and Fiona. Dear brother of Ted, Maureen, Rita, James, Billy, Una, Vera, Brigid, Tom, Angela, Noelle and the late John and Francis. He also leaves his brother-in-law Tommy Harvey and his late wife Maureen. Also survived by many close relatives and friends here and in Ireland and England. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Name Church at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
