Mr. Robert J. Darakjian, a longtime resident of Medford and beloved husband of Helyn L. Darakjian, passed away at the Winchester Hospital on November 29, 2019. He was 69 years old.
Born in Watertown, Massachusetts, on March 22, 1950, he was the beloved son of the late James Darakjian and Grace (Gulesian). Mr. Darakjian was the proprietor of Moultons Restaurant in Medford for many years.
In his spare time, Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, watching movies and working in his yard. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was a very hard worker. Above all, Robert was a very devoted husband and father. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his beloved wife, Helyn, Robert is survived by his loving sons; Joshua R. Darakjian of Medford and David Z. Darakjian of Medford, Brother; Douglas and his wife Sharon Darakjian of Nashua, New Hampshire and Sister; Nancy Darakjian of New Hampshire.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Tuesday, prior to the mass, from 10 to 11 AM. Interment will be held in the Mt.
