Elaine T. (Palumbo) Leccese of Somerville died on Wednesday, November 6, at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. A lifelong Somerville resident, she was the daughter of the late Raymond ''Louie'' and Elizabeth ''Lizzie'' (Cota) Palumbo. Elaine was a longtime state employee. She was devoted to her family and to the Society of SS Cosmas and Damian. Elaine loved to cook and bake, and adored the holidays and vacationing at Swift's Beach in Wareham.

Elaine was the beloved wife of Alessandro Leccese, and the devoted mother of Anthony Leccese and his wife Gina of Medford, and Lisa Leccese-Tringali of Youngsville, NC. She was the loving grandmother of Alexander, Anthony J., and Brianna Leccese, and Domenic and Gabrielle Tringali.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, November 9 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 262 Washington St., Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, November 8, from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
