Shawn Michael Lawson, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019. Shawn was the son of Lorrie (Macdonald) Wood and brother of Kendra-Leigh Parsons and her wife Justine Parsons and Ashlee Silva and her fiancé Hercelino Barbosa, Sr. He was the loving uncle of Kenny, Jr., Serenity, Major and Hercelino, Jr. Shawn was the grandson of the late Ruth I. Macdonald.
Shawn was born September 8, 1983 in Stoughton and was raised in Bridgewater. A 2002 graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School, Shawn had been employed at Watchman Waterproofing for the past two years.
Anyone that was fortunate enough to know Shawn, knows he had an amazing sense of humor, kind heart, and was always incredibly loving. He was a huge lover of all things horror and loved every animal he ever came in contact with. He was always the life of the party and gave everyone a good laugh. It was no secret that Shawn struggled with addiction but even through it all, he still remained the same amazing person we all knew and loved.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte.123) Brockton on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 4-8pm.
