Mary E. Davis, age 88, of Dorchester passed away October 26th at the Life Care Center of the South Shore in Scituate. Born and raised in Dorchester, she graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School. She worked for New England Telephone and Verizon for many years as a manager before retiring in 1996. She was a member of the New England Telephone Pioneers and was an avid bingo player.
Beloved sister of the late James J. & William F. Davis. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church, Canton Thursday at 12 noon. Visiting hour prior to the mass Thursday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Burial Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
