Irma Crugnale of Medford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, at Courtyard Nursing Care Center of Medford. Born and raised in Sulmona, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Francesco Susi and Luisa DiCenso. Irma came to the U.S. in 1969, settling first in Boston's North End before moving to Medford ten years later. She was employed for many years as a seamstress.

Irma was the beloved wife of the late Michele Crugnale, and the devoted mother of Luisa Todesca and her husband Alfonso of Medford, and the late Maria DelMonaco and her husband Ezio. She leaves behind loving granddaughters and great granddaughters. Irma was the dear sister of the late Anna Susi and her husband Aquilino DiCenso, Fiorindo Susi and his wife Antonia, and Gilda Susi and her husband Gulio DeSantis. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and in-laws, both in the U.S. and Italy.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, of Friday, October 18 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Woodlawn Mausoleum, Everett. Visiting hours have been respectfully omitted.
