John passed away at Rhode Island Hospital, after being diagnosed a month ago of lung cancer. The news didn’t stop John from his daily routine with his wife of daily mass at St Philips church, rosary, and visiting family.
John was a kind and gentle man. He loved to take walks and could put anything together. I don’t think anyone could say a bad word about him.
He lived in three Countries for 25 years each England, Canada and the USA. He was very intelligent, a walking encyclopedia.
John was an avid lover of the New England Patriots.
Married to Joan Mollicone Lewis. His family that lives in Canada: Father of Jean and Albert Sigfusson and their children Andrew and Samantha. Father of Helen and Barry Kehler and their children Jeff and his wife Dionne and their children London and Lachlan and Lisa and her wife Sarah, Jim and Liette Lewis and their children Alyssa and Courtney Richard Lewis and his partner Marie-Lynn Baryliuk, Patricia Lewis and her partner Patrick
Oshust: and His sister is Mary Wilde and her husband Dick and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Josephine and Wilfred Lewis and his brother Paul
He was stepfather to Mark Mollicone, Lori Mollicone, Susan Mollicone, Grandfather to Mark Mollicone Jr, Amanda La Mountain and husband Craig & Victoria Glucksman
Mass Tuesday at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery.
