Roy E. Bohannon, 63

Roy E. Bohannon, age 63, of Millville, a former longtime resident of Norton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the Blaire House in Milford.
Born in Attleboro, MA on March 6, 1956, he was a loving son of the late George M. Bohannon and the late Mildred O. (Boynton) Corey.
Roy grew up and was educated in Norton. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged on June 1, 1979 with the rank of BTFN.
Most recently, Mr. Bohannon was employed as a student driver at the YWCA in Providence and throughout the years, worked hard to support his family. He had also resided in Attleboro and North Attleboro and enjoyed helping hiis son with home renovation projects.
He is survived by his devoted sons: Jason A. Bohannon and his spouse Mark Regan of Millville and Matthew P. Bohannon of New Hampshire. He was the dear brother of John R. Bohannon of Canton, Joseph B. Bohannon of Florida, Lucille M. Jones of Vermont, Doris E. Beaman of New Hampshire, Penny S. Shade of Norton and the late George E. Bohannon and Andrew D. Bohannon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and his former wife Wendy Bohannon.
In accordance with Roy’s wishes, services and burial at the Timothy Plain Cemetery will be private. Visiting hours have also been omitted.
