Amy M. White
7/7/2019

Amy M. White (Rheault) age 69, formerly of Canton, of Hull passed away suddenly July 7th. Born and raised in Leominster, she graduated from St. Bernard’s High School Fitchburg proud member of the great Class ‘68. She went on to earn her Nursing Degree from Cape Cod Community College and worked as a Registered Nurse for 40 years at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and the Faulkner Hospital before retiring. She had lived in Canton for 25 years before recently moving to Hull.
Beloved wife of Stephen J. Mother of Jarrod Gero and his wife Tiffany of West Roxbury. Grandmother of Brayden and Mairead Gero of West Roxbury. Loving sister of Robert Rheault and his wife Marcia of Leominster, John Rheault and his late wife Becky of GA, Ann Minalga and her husband Alex of Shirley and the late Carolann Hayden. Loving Auntie of several nieces and nephews. Special great Auntie to Thomas and Nicholas Hayden. Best friend of fellow 4 C’s graduate Margie Teed. Lifelong friendship with many of her high school classmates: Sue Theirrien, Chris Thompson, Tom Godin, Kathleen Donnelly, Cindy, Carleen, Rainelle, Jane, Bernice, Mark Filteau, Mark O’Connor, Margo, Bobby, George, and Mark Maynard. She always loved Michael Burns’ humor. Forgive any omissions I can’t remember everyone’s name as I type this. Amy shared many great memories with me (Stephen) about her much admired and respected classmates. I can’t put into words how much she loved everyone and I mean everyone from the class of ’68.
Former neighbors from Standish Drive and lasting fond memories of watching all the children grow into fine young adults. Our new neighbors from the Coburn Street area in Hull made us feel like we were in old episodes of Leave it to Beaver and Ozzy and Harriet the way we were welcomed. Thank you all.
Friends of Bill and Bob: thank all of you. You know who you are. Tall Jack always called my wife Angel Amy during and after her final years of nursing working in addiction medicine. Thank you Tall Jack.
To her monthly lunch crew and former coworkers: Kelly, Phyllis, and Dorothy. Thank you.
Last but not least Amy’s great love and respect for her brother Bob and her late Dad Big Aime. The love she had for her siblings “CeeA”, Ann and John. Bob and Marcia’s help many years ago was never forgotten. Thank you. To Kathryn DuFort, Annette and Susan Rheault and the Rheault extended family. Thank you. Amy was the most loving and compassionate person I have ever known. Pretty good qualities for a nurse don’t you think ;-)
