Mrs. Mabel J. (Cameron) Tremblay, died peacefully, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, surrounded by her beloved family, on April 21, 2019. She was the wife of the late Paul E. Tremblay, with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Roselda (Erwin) Cameron. Mabel was a stay-at-home mother who devoted her life to her family. She was a member and volunteer of Ste. Anne Church, an avid bowler, and a die-hard Thursday night Bingo player.
She is survived by seven children, Paul Tremblay, Jr. and his wife Charlene, Albert, Richard, Donald & Robert Tremblay, Cynthia Murley, Mark Tremblay and his wife Margita. She also leaves 10 grandchildren, Michelle Kolodziej, Eric Tremblay, Jason Tremblay, Melanie Bouchard, MacKenzie Sprenger, Melissa Padayachee, Nicole Lunt, Erin Tremblay and Joshua Murley; as well as 15 great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews and other family members. She was predeceased by her brother Peter Cameron; and her granddaughter Shannon Tremblay.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1 – A] Salem on Thursday, the 25th at 9:30 AM to be followed by her Funeral Mass in Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 10:30. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Visiting hours, at the funeral home will be on Wednesday the 24th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
