Martha E. Green, 89, of Londonderry, NH, died Sunday, April 21, 2019, in Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. She was born in Chelsea, MA on December 3, 1929, a daughter of Robert and Ruth (Harris) Bruce. Martha was known for her beautiful high heels, impeccable tan and for baking the absolute best ricotta pies. In her younger years, Martha worked designing shoes and other accessories, furthering her love for high heels. She was an elegant woman who adored her granddaughters and her great-grandsons. Despite losing her husband 24 years ago she has never stopped loving him and has the fondest memories of him and their many nights spent dancing.
She is survived by her son, Daniel S. Green and wife Yvonne; two granddaughters, Vanessa LaMalfa and Janelle Jones and husband Chris; two great-grandchildren, Paul and James LaMalfa; brother, Fred Bruce and many nieces and nephews. Martha is predeceased by her beloved husband, Daniel R. Green; two brothers, Robert Bruce, Sr. and Malcolm Bruce and two sisters, Ethel Sullivan and Caroline Gill.
Following cremation, calling hours were held Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 3 - 5:30pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd. Londonderry. A memorial service followed at 5:30pm in the funeral home.
