| Rinnard Gravitt, 92, of Ashburn passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at his residence.
Rinnard was born on August 19, 1926 in Cummings to the late Toy C. and Annie Mardell Samples Gravitt. He served his country with honor in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Mt. Horeb Methodist Church in West Columbia, South Carolina. He also retired from Belk where he was a salesman. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Christine Hendric Gravitt, daughters, Audrey Gravitt Greene and Dr. Renee Gravitt Leake and siblings, Dewey Gravitt, T. C. Gravitt, Paulos Gravitt, Ethelene Bailey and Shirley Gravitt. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Perry Funeral Chapel. The committal service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 25 in the Mt. Horeb Methodist Church Cemetery in Lexington, SC. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 until 1:45 at Perry Funeral Chapel in Ashburn. | ||||
