CHICOPEE – Georgette M. (Wehrman) O’Dea, 88, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. She was born in Bronx, New York on March 11, 1931, a beloved daughter of the late George and Mary (Carol) Wehrman. She was raised and schooled in New York and came to Chicopee in 1962. She was employed as a Bank Teller at First Bank, Shawmut Bank, Fleet Bank and lastly at Bank of America. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael R. O’Dea; her cherished grandson, Patrick G. O’Dea; and her two dear sisters, Betty Roy and Margaret Reynolds. She leaves her devoted son and daughter-in-law, Thomas P. O’Dea and his wife, Judy, of Chicopee; her three cherished grandchildren, Mary Lessard and her husband, Brian, Kerri O’Dea and Kevin O’Dea and his wife, Ashley; her two cherished great-grandchildren, Dean Gebo and Vera Harper Lessard. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
