Mrs. Agnes D. (Ferioli) McCarvill, a longtime resident of Medford and beloved wife of the late Frank B. McCarvill, passed away at the Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge on Sunday afternoon, March 17, 2019. She was 93 years old.
Born in Somerville, Massachusetts, on December 18, 1925, she was the daughter of the late William and Rose (Facchini) Ferioli. Mrs. McCarvill had worked as a Receptionist for the Somerville Hospital for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed playing scrabble, reading and shopping. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her loving daughters; Linda Riley of Saugus, Marie and her husband Louis Gersh of Medford and Jean McCarvill and David Allen, both of Medford, and grandchildren: William, Matthew and Michael Gersh. She was also the sister of the late William Ferioli.
Her Funeral will be held from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at 8:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 514 High Street, Medford, at 9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, from 5 to 8 PM. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
