Obituary

Albin H. Seyfferth passed peacefully on March 5, 2019 in the presence of his loving family after a long illness. Al, as all that knew him called him was born in Lawrence on September 6, 1932 to Harold Seyfferth and Emily (Laird) Seyfferth. He is survived by his loving wife Doris F. (Logan) Seyfferth to whom he was happily married for 61 years.
Al is also survived by his adoring daughters Michelle Rose (Seyfferth) Petrycki and son in law Paul T. Petrycki and Kelley Anne (Seyfferth) Floyd and son in law Patrick A. Floyd.

He was also the doting Poppy to his grandchildren Justin P. Floyd, Mikayala R. Floyd, and Holly R. Petrycki.
Albin was a 1950 graduate of Johnson High School in North Andover and served this nation for 2 years in the Army during the Korean War.

In civilian life he worked at Tyer Rubber and later Converse in Andover for 21 years. He went on to work for Mercury Systems in North Andover repairing athletic shoes for college and professional athletes until his retirement. He enjoyed good food and dining out with his wife. He was also an avid sports fan with the Patriots and Red Sox being his favorite.

Al will be remembered as primarily the best husband, father and Poppy that any human being could ever be. A hard working, kind and loving man that will live in his family's hearts forever.
