Marie T. (Cinotti) Boisclair

SPRINGFIELD ~ Marie T. (Cinotti) Boisclair, 77, of the Indian Orchard section of Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Sunday, March 3, 2019. She passed into Eternal Life at the Life Care Center of Wilbraham surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Newport, Rhode Island on May 24, 1941, a beloved daughter of the late Daniel L. and Mildred (Grinnell) Cinotti. She was raised in Newport and lived there for many years before moving to Indian Orchard in 1963. She was employed for many years in the cafeteria at Kiley Junior High School in the Sixteen Acres section in Springfield. During her younger years, she was a Boy Scout Den Mother and a Girl Scout Leader. She also enjoyed working on ceramics and cake decorating. Most of all, she was a wonderful homemaker to her family and showered them with her love and affection. She was a communicant of Saint Catherine of Siena Church in Springfield. She leaves her beloved husband and best friend, Jean R. “John” Boisclair. They were married on January 12, 1963 in Newport, Rhode Island and were blessed with over 56 years of happiness together. She also leaves her two loving children, Shawn M. Boisclair and his wife, Sara, of Springfield and Michelle A. Berthiaume of Indian Orchard; her five cherished grandchildren, twins Giulia Boisclair and Sophia Boisclair, Nicole Berthiaume, Christopher Berthiaume and Matthew Berthiaume; her two cherished great granddaughters, twins Ava Berthiaume and Aubrey Berthiaume; her loving brother and sister-in-law, Daniel Cinotti and his wife, Jeanne (Boisclair) Cinotti; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the Boisclair and Cinotti families. Her funeral will be held on Friday, March 8, 2019 beginning at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 9 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
