Theresa E. (Luongo) Castiglia, a resident of Medford, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday evening, February 27, 2019. She was 89 years old.
She was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the beloved daughter of the late Orestes and Anna (Longo) Luongo, formally from the old West End. Theresa was born on November 30, 1929 and follows her siblings in death, Sonny, Angie and Joanne, in the presence of our Lord.
Left behind to celebrate her life are her three loving sons; Frank and his wife Terry Castiglia, Bobby and his wife Roberta Castiglia and James Castiglia. Theresa is also survived by her loving grandchildren; Kevin, Maureen and her husband Andrew Russ, Daniel and Joseph, two great-grandchildren, aunt Rita Tatz, brother-in-law; Sal Salzarulo and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Theresa always loved Jesus and her faith was unbreakable. She loved all of her children and family, unconditionally and will be watching from above. She will be dearly missed.
