David Nathan Bardessono

David Nathan Bardessono, 65, of Prosser entered into rest on February 18, 2019 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland. He was born on February 17, 1954 to Joseph Dominic and Joyce Adean (Ouderkirk) Bardessono in Prosser, Washington where he was raised and received his education. Except for a brief time in Montana, David lived in the Lower Yakima Valley for his entire life. David and Sherilyn Medley were married on May 31, 1972 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Prosser.

Over the years, David worked at Epco, making motorcycle straps, at Stokes Orchard-Ladder Shop in Grandview, at Bleyhl irrigation department and he raised calves, pigs and goats. He also enjoyed raising pug puppies with his wife, once he retired.

David loved music and loved to sing! While attending school in Prosser, he was a member of the choir and performed at many concerts up and down the valley and around the state. David also enjoyed golfing, fishing for sturgeon and salmon, baking, bible reading and research, refurbishing golf clubs, farming, and writing poetry. He was a member of the International Poet Society and several of his poems were published.

David was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on February 28, 1970. He spent much of his time reading and studying the bible. David had had the privilege of serving as a Ministerial Servant and Auxiliary Pioneer.

David is survived by his wife, Sherilyn Bardessono; children, David “Davy” (Diana) Bardessono Jr. of Prosser, Jennifer (Eddy) Hayte of Prosser and William “Billy” (Lindsay) Bardessono of Prosser; siblings, Timothy (Frances) Bardessono of Prosser, Deborah Collins of Prosser, Mark Bardessono of Prosser, Matthew (Bronyn) Bardessono of Richland; and five grandchildren, Savannah and Alex Hayte of Prosser, Kialani, Giovani, and Mikaila Bardessono of Prosser. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Joyce Bardessono.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2nd at the Prosser Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (330 Nunn Road). You may leave a message for the family at www.Prosserfuneralhome.com
