Virginia Lee Jump, 78, of Ashburn passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Virginia was born on December 8, 1940 in Elijay to the late Emory Preston and Vera Cecile Wooten Moore. She was a homemaker and retired property manager. She was also a member of Harmony Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Edsal F. Jump of Ashburn; children, Carole Lewis of Ashburn, Danny (Darby) Brewer of Ashburn, David Brewer of Ashburn and Darron (Christina) Jump of Jackson; grandchildren, Amanda Lewis of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Ryan Burnett, who is currently serving in the United States Air Force in Germany, Gavin Jump of Jackson and Preston Jump of Jackson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Brewer. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Perry Funeral Chapel. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. | ||||
