Cherished "Papa" of Emma, Madalyn, Ayden, Keeley, Chase, and Brady. Son of the late Jeremiah M. and Mary J. McCarthy. Loving brother of Sister Jacquelyn McCarthy, CSJ, Sister Patricia McCarthy, CSJ, M. Alannah McCarthy Fennell and her husband Richard and Kathleen Cody and her husband Matthew Jr. Also loved by his nieces and nephew, Bridget Hagerty, Matthew J. Cody, III and Patricia Cody. Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St. West Roxbury, on Tuesday morning Feb. 19th at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St John Chrysostom Church at 11:30. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Monday from 4pm – 8pm. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Michael was an avid golfer and enjoyed his time and friends at George Wright Golf Course. Retired employee of United Airlines.
