Bruce A. Lessard, 58, passed away on February 7, 2019, in Fort Myers, Florida. He was the son of Ronald B. and Janet C. (Dionne) Lessard.
Born in Beverly he lived most of his life in Salem. He attended Salem High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University. He retired from 3 M Corporation with over 20 years with the company. He was an avid body builder and won many trophies in Powerlifting.
In addition to his parents, Roland and Janet Lessard of Salem, he is survived by his sisters, Lorinda Redel and Donna Christoforou and her husband Peter all of Salem, his brothers, Scott Lessard and his wife Kim of W. Springfield and Ronald Lessard and his wife Lisa of Peabody, his longtime partner, Diane Doucette and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visiting hours on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Route 114 / 1-A] Salem from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial service, at a later date, will be private.
