Della J. (Kos) Hill, 101, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Alliance Health at Devereux (Devereux House) in Marblehead. She was the wife of the late Raymond Hill.
Born in New Hampshire and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Bienkowicz) Kos. Della first worked for the former CBS Hytron and later worked in production for Sylvania for many years. Widowed in 1976 and following her retirement she enjoyed playing bingo with her friends. Della was a resident of Peabody for many years.
She leaves her sister, Helen Dion of upstate New York and several nieces and nephews including; Gary P. Dion and his wife Leda of Lynn and Stephen Dion of New York, Frank Kos and John Kos. She was predeceased by her sister, Jennie (Genevieve) Bouchard, her brother Metty Kos and her niece Joan Doyle.
Her calling hours will be on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., Salem [Route 114/1-A] Salem from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM to be followed by her service in the funeral home at 11:30 AM.
