After struggling with dementia and a brief illness, she spent her last day surrounded by family in a gathering reminiscent of many life celebrations in the past. The Lord took her home peacefully in the early evening. Preceded in death by husband Howard. Survived by children Douglas (Crestena), Gregory (Patricia), Deborah (John) Koerner, Victoria (Dennis) Hayes; grandchildren Nathan (Tiffany) Kuehl, Ryan (Renae) Kuehl, Matthew Kuehl, Crestena (Alex) Kulzer, Tonya (Scott) Cone, Jean Koerner, Jennifer (Jeremy Merk) Koerner; great grandchildren Sunny, Maxwell, Ezra, Anaka, Austin, Avery, Alexander, Nicholas, Benjamin, Frederick, Genevieve; sister Marlyn "Honey" (Raymond) Rothman; many other relatives & friends. Longtime member of the North St. Paul American Legion Post 39 Auxiliary. Funeral Service Saturday (2/2) 11:00 AM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, with visitation one hour prior to Service. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be sent by the family to the hospice staff.
