CHICOPEE ~ Theresa B. Wicklman, 90, of the Willimansett section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. She passed into Eternal Life at Willimansett Center East in Chicopee surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family and her wonderful caregivers. She was born at home in Willimansett on May 20, 1928, the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Alma Marie (Perron) Wicklman. She was raised in Chicopee, graduated from Holy Name High School in Chicopee and had lived in her family home in Chicopee her entire life. She furthered her education and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacology from the Hampden College of Pharmacy in Chicopee. She worked as a Pharmacist for many years at local pharmacies including the Louis & Clark Drugstore in West Springfield. Active in her Catholic faith, she was a communicant of Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Willimansett. During her leisure time, she enjoyed sewing. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and her many friends. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her four dear brothers and sisters-in-law, Leo Wicklman and his wife, Mildred, Louis Wicklman and his wife, Cecile, Rene Wicklman and his wife, Lillian, and Arthur Wicklman and his wife, Molly. She leaves her many dear nephews and nieces and her many dear friends. Her family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 56 Saint Anthony Street, Chicopee, MA 01013. Her Burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. There are no visiting hours. Her funeral arrangements are entrusted to the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Saint Anthony of Padua Church, 56 Saint Anthony Street, Chicopee, MA 01013.
