FALL RIVER – Stephen J. Clynes, Jr., age 82, passed away January 11, 2019 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Zmuda) Clynes. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Stephen J. and Imelda (St. Yves) Clynes. Stephen worked as a submarine electrician for Electric Boat in Groton for over 37 years.
Stephen is survived by his daughters Karen Novacek (husband Anthony) of Fall River and Debra Clynes of Fall River; 2 granddaughters Heather Medeiros (husband Dennis) and Kayla Novacek; 1 great grandson Devin Medeiros; sister Rita Smith, as well as several nieces. He was predeceased by his siblings Charles Clynes and Imelda Fisher.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a mass at St. Joseph’s Church on Wednesday, January 16th at 10:00 A.M. Private Burial. Calling Hours on Tuesday, January 15th from 4-7 P.M.
