Luke Cosgrove, 24
Dateline: Norton, MA
Luke Cosgrove, age 24, a lifelong resident of Norton, passed away unexpectedly, as the result of an accident on Saturday, December 29, 2018.
Born in Natick, MA on April 22, 1994, he was a loving and devoted son of Francis X. and Colleen F. (Tierney) Cosgrove.
Luke grew up and was educated in Norton. When younger, he played little league baseball, football, participated in karate lessons but his greatest passion was skateboarding. He also enjoyed playing video games, being outdoors which included visiting Capron Park Zoo in Attleboro and walking around Borderland State Park in Easton. Luke will always be remembered for his love of family and friends and his talented artistic skills.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his younger brother Shane F. Cosgrove of Norton, as well as several cherished aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, January 4th from 10:00 A.M.- 12:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Avenue) Norton.
A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visiting hours at 12:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Timothy Plain Cemetery in Norton.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Luke’s memory may be made to the Schizophrenic International Research Society, 5034-A Thoroughbred Lane, Brentwood, TN 37027 USA.
