Linda M. (Charron) Bozek, age 71, of Attleboro, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the embracing love of her adoring family on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Miriam Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife and best friend of Stephen J. Bozek, with whom she had spent the past forty-nine years.

Born in Attleboro, MA on June 29, 1947, she a loving daughter of the late Alfred H., Sr. and Ida S (Mallon) Charron.

Linda grew up in South Attleboro and was educated in Attleboro public schools. She had made her home in Attleboro for the past twenty-five years and previously resided in Pawtucket.

Linda had worked for eleven years as a supervisor in the food court at BJ’s Wholesale Club in South Attleboro and had formerly been employed for many years at the former Texas Instruments in Attleboro.

Linda’s family was by far the focal point and top priority in her life. She was an amazing cook whose table was always filled with smiling faces and where no one ever got up hungry, especially after a home cooked traditional Sunday dinner.

She treasured the times spent shopping with her grandchildren and enjoyed camping and playing bingo. Linda will be sadly missed by her large close-knit family and the many friends who truly considered her as their own mother.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children: Wendy M. Gabriel and her husband Stephen of Pawtucket and Scott R. Bozek and his wife Lisa of Pawtucket. She was the cherished grandmother of Leyla Nascimento, Justin Gabriel and Heidi Gabriel and great grandmother of Mason Gabriel. She was the dear sister of Nancy Blanchette of Attleboro, Janet Goldsmith of Florida, Alfred Charron, Jr. of Berkley, Robert Charron of Pawtucket, Gail Dorrance and her husband Phil of Attleboro and Charlotte Martineau and her husband Roger of Rehoboth and is also survived by several generations of many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a service in celebration of her life on Saturday December 29th at 10:00 A.M. in the Centenary United Methodist Church, 15 Sanford St., Attleboro.

Visiting hours have been omitted and in lieu of flowers, Linda’s family has requested that contributions in her memory be made to the Centenary United Methodist Church.
