SOMERSET – Manuel L. Costa, age 68 of Somerset, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Furnas, São Miguel, Açores, he was the beloved husband of Agueda M. Costa and the son of the late Jose Maricio Leonardo and Catarina Maricio Leonardo. Prior to retiring, Manny worked for JoAnn Fabrics as a machine operator.
In addition to his wife, Manny is survived by his two sons: Danny L. Costa of Somerset and Michael L. Costa of Swansea; two brothers: Joe Leonardo and Frank Leonardo, both of Fall River; and his two grandchildren: Madison and Logan Costa; nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Manny will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main Street, Fall River on Saturday, Dec. 22nd from 8:00-11:30 A.M. followed by a service at 11:30 A.M. Cremation will follow.
