Mashpee: Judith L. (Loge) Nordquist, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2018 in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center at Westborough. She leaves her husband of 56 years, Otto A. Nordquist; two sons and their wives- David and Cindy Nordquist of Millville and John and Donna Nordquist of Mendon; 4 grandsons- Tyler and Ryan Nordquist of Mendon, Daniel and his wife Laura Nordquist of Plymouth, and Matthew and his wife Jenny Nordquist of RI; a granddaughter Kristen Nordquist of Millville; a great- grandson Thomas Nordquist; a sister Edith Balken of WI and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sisters Eleanor Tonnessen and Esther Loge and by a brother Herbert Loge.
Judy was born in Lista, Norway, daughter of the late Ingvald and Martha Loge. She immigrated to the United States in 1947. She dedicated her life to being a housewife and mother. She enjoyed traveling, baking, shopping but most of all spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. in Nordgren Funeral Home 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the National Cemetery in Bourne.
