Sombath Thammakhod, 71, of Woonsocket died Friday December 7, 2018 at Landmark Medical Center. She was the loving wife of the late Naen Thammakhod.
She was born and raised in Laos and came to the United States in 1997 and lived in Woonsocket since then.
Sombath worked as a production and assembly worker at manufacturing facilities.
She loved her family very much and enjoyed singing and dancing.
She is survived by daughter Khamsene Greene of Moosup, CT and two sons Phouttahsong “Phou” Khongsouvankham-Dao of Orlando, FL and Thoranong “TK” Khongsouvankham of Woonsocket. She was the mother of the late Khamvene Tardiff. She is also survived by several grandchildren and siblings and relatives in Laos.
Her funeral services will begin Tuesday morning December 11, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. At the conclusion of services at the funeral home the funeral procession will depart for final services at Swan Point Cemetery on Blackstone Blvd. in Providence. Visiting hours are Tuesday morning prior to the start of services beginning at 8:00 am.
