Preceded in death by wife of 56 years, Gertrude; 2 infant children Mary & Patrick; brothers George & Gerald. Survived by children Michael (Rose), James, Paul (Annette), Mary Ellen Kinsky, William G. (Lana); 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother Tom; & longtime friend Jacqueline. Retired from 3M after 38 years. Longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Parish Trustee & Parish School Board member. Lifetime member of Woodbury VFW Post #9024. Avid woodworker, metal worker, handyman & storyteller. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday (12/11) 10:30 AM at GUARDIAN ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8260 - 4th St. N, Oakdale. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 2:00 PM, Lane #5. Visitation Monday 4-8 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, & one hour prior to Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Birthright of St. Paul, HealthEast Hospice & St. Therese of Woodbury.
