Joseph M. Cusato, of Woburn formerly of Arlington passed away peacefully at the Care Dimensions Hospice house in Lincoln, December 3, 2018, following a battle with cancer. He was 87. Joseph was the beloved husband of Rose Marie "Roro" (Giurleo) Cusato. Born in Somerville he was the son of the late Thomas and Teresa (Carpinella) Cusato.

Joe spent over thirty years employed by the Polaroid Corporation in quality control after honorably serving in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Active in retirement, Joe worked as a driver for several different automotive parts stores. He had a passion for cars that he developed at a young age. He also enjoyed watching and listening to drum corps and marching bands and spending time with his family and friends on Cape Cod. However, his greatest joy was his family and nothing made him happier than to be with those he loved.

In addition to his wife, Joe is survived by his daughters; Ann-Marie Cusato DePalma and her husband Robert DePalma, and Jean Mary Cusato Cocco and her husband Michael Cocco. He was the loving grandfather of David and Christopher DePalma. Brother of Thomas Cusato and his wife Nancy, and the late Mary Anne Adams. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Friday, December 7th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Joseph's memory to the charity of your choice.
