Mr. Aime F. Reming, August 29, 1936 - November 28, 2018
Aime “rounded third and headed home” on November 28th to join the love of his life, the late Ann (Dolan) Reming. A lefty pitcher for the Cleveland Indians Organization, Aime was known for his witty one-liners, great sense of humor and ability to bring a room together with song and cheer.

Aime grew up in Lawrence where he was a multi sport athlete for the Lawrence High School Lancers including captain of the baseball team. He graduated with the class of 1954.

Aime touched many lives through his diverse talents and experiences. He enlisted in the Army in 1957 where he served as a Medical Corpsman and played baseball for the William Beaumont Army Hospital in El Paso Texas. After receiving his honorable discharge he married Ann Dolan of Andover in 1959 and their journey together began. He was employed by the Town of Andover for more than 40 years. Aime was a parishioner of St. Augustine’s Church in Andover and sang his heart out performing for many years in Pari-Fam with his dear friends. He was inducted into the Lawrence High School Hall of Fame in 1995.

Aime is the son of the late Edward J. Reming and Jeanette (LaBarge) Reming. He is survived by his loving children; Cheryl A. and her husband Jay V. Orzechowski of Salem, New Hampshire, Kathleen F. and her husband Michael E. Tanner of Andover, Mary Jay and her husband James E. Dowe of Kennebunk, Maine and Peter J. and his wife Jodi D. (Jangro) Reming of Andover, Grandchildren; Jennifer and her husband Marc, Richard, Blake, Michael Jr, and his wife Courtney, Amy, Carissa, Caileigh and Peter Jr., Brothers; Edward J. Jr. "Pete" and his wife Helen Reming of Clearwater, Florida and Richard A. and his wife Diane Reming of North Andover, Brother-in-law to; H. James and his wife Janet Dolan of Center Ossipee, New Hampshire and Vincent P. and his wife Susan Dolan of Newburyport. Aime leaves many cousins and adoring nieces and nephews as their Uncle Aime was one of a kind. When it came to family, he was “the richest man in the world”.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Monday, December 3, 2018, at 10:30 AM. The family welcomes all relatives and friends, because “friends are the flowers in the garden of life”. Calling hours will be held at the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Sunday, December 2, 2018, from 11 AM to 3 PM. Burial will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover.
