Rose L. Angelo, of Woburn passed away following a lengthy illness at the Winchester Nursing Center, November 20, 2018. She was 91. Rose was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Angelo. Born in Boston she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Rosina (Iacovilli) Pennachio.
Rose was raised and educated in Boston's North End. She attended the Boston Trade School and then worked for many years as a highly talented seamstress in Boston's Garment District, most notably with the House of Bianchi. At the age of 50, Rose proudly earned her certification to teach her craft of sewing to others. This was something she was very proud of. Mostly devoted to her family, Rose loved cooking; hosting Sunday diners and the holidays making sure everyone was welcomed in her home and always well fed. Over the years she also enjoyed traveling with family and friends.

Rose is survived by her children; Mary Prince and her late husband Thomas of North Andover, Bob Angelo and his wife Patricia of Woburn, Karen Angelo and her partner Steve Andrada of Andover, Salvatore Angelo Jr. and his wife Nancy of Woburn. She was the loving grandmother of Katherine and Michael Prince, Adrienne Whelan, Michelle, Joseph and Anna Angelo, Jonathan Rizzo, Sara, Lea and Olivia Angelo. Loving great grandmother of Benjamin, Megan, and Grace. Sister of Dominic Pennachio of Woburn, the late Josephine and Frank Pennachio, Antonetta Interbartolo, Angelina Morgan, Theresa Cappello, and Nicolena Umbrianna. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held from McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Monday, November 26th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Rd., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held on Sunday, 2 to 5 p.m. Interment services will be private. Contributions may be made in Rose's memory to the Woburn Senior Center, 144 School St., Woburn, MA 01801 or to the charity of your choice.
