Kathy J. Messier, 61, of Wallingford, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 30, 2018. She was the loving wife of Alan Messier.
Kathy was born in Morristown, NJ to Joyce (Johnson) Kratt and the late Albert Kratt. Prior to living in Wallingford, CT. Kathy lived in Greenville, Rhode Island. Kathy was involved in numerous churches serving as the Director of Christian education, and long-term active member of First Baptist Church in Wallingford.
Beside the love of her life, Al, Kathy will be sorely missed by her son Marc Messier and his wife, Allison of Portland, OR; her sister: Robin Shields, brother in law William Shields of RI; her brother: A. Trapper Kratt and sister in law Michelle Kratt; and her mother Joyce Kratt of Smithfield, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and extended family.
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday, November 2, 2018, at the B.C. Bailey Funeral Home, 273 South Elm St., in Wallingford. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 114 North Main St., Wallingford, CT. Interment will be private.
