Marilyn L. (Pacifici) Onorato, 86, passed away Sunday October 28, 2018.
She was the daughter of the late Dominic Pacifici and Genevieve (Hopkins)Pacifici. She was also predeceased by her husband of 49 years Francis W. Onorato and her brother Donald Pacifici.
Marilyn was an outstanding tri-sport athlete who graduated from Natick High School and was recently inducted into the Natick High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Her competitive spirit led her to become a bowling instructor alongside her husband Fran, who further competed tandem and solo, professionally, across New England. Marilyn’s profession as well as passion included instructing aerobics throughout the MetroWest area at various senior centers well into her 80’s. Surpassing her athletic abilities were her culinary talents. She enjoyed nothing more than preparing authentic Italian feasts which were often highlighted by ravioli made from scratch, for her family.
Marilyn is survived by her sister Joan Pacifici of Maryland, her children Mark Onorato and his wife Kerry of Plymouth, Deborah Vizakis and her husband John of Bellingham, her grandchildren, Nahum Vizakis, Krystal Ortiz and her husband Jose, Anthony Vizakis, Carissa Melicharek and her husband Paul, Peter Onorato, Rick Onorato and his wife Amanda, her great grandchildren Antonio, Jaymin, Ayden, Olivia, Julian, and Aya.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Friday at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Church, 44 E Central St. Natick. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held Thursday 3-7 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
