RUSSELL, Henry Patrick, Age 94 of West Roxbury passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 13th. He was one of 7 children born to Patrick and Margaret Russell. The beloved husband to the late Theresa Margaret Russell. Loving father of daughter Margaret Russell Greene and husband Paul of Hingham, daughter Catherine Stabler of Ann Arbor, Michigan, son James and wife Colleen of Braintree, son Patrick and wife Stacy of Braintree, son Sean and wife Annmarie of West Roxbury, daughter Theresa O’Brien and husband Patrick of Milton and his late daughter Sheila Russell. He is the cherished Papa of Patrick, Noelle, Sean, Colleen, Taylor, Jeffrey, Maura, Ashley, Kelly, Sean Henry, Michaela, Kaitlyn, Liam, Aidan, Jack, Henry and Megan. Survived by his brother Patrick of Milton and sister Maureen Ashness of North Carolina, predeceased by his sisters Jane, Anna, Margaret and brother Jack. He has many nieces and nephews. Retired Boston Police Officer of 33 yrs. and electrician. Retired Sergeant of the United States Air Force. He was most proud of being a father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family and was an enthusiast at his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was an avid sports fan of all Boston sports. He was born in Cork, Ireland and was very proud of his Irish Heritage. He enjoyed Irish dances and music, and was often at the Irish Social club with his wife and friends. He always helped friends and family with electrical work especially his children often being at their homes helping with any and all home improvements. He will be remembered always with much love. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Thursday, October 18th at 9 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Name Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
