Stephen J. Ryan, age 54 of Canton, formerly of Belmont passed away October 10th at Season’s Hospice in Milton surrounded by his loving family. Born in Boston, he was raised in Belmont and graduated from Belmont High School, Bentley University and New England School of Law. He previously worked as the Director of Government Affairs for the Mass Assn of Realtors and as CEO of the New England Convenience Store Assn before taking the position of CEO of New England Waterworks Assn in Holliston 3 years ago. Steve was a devoted father and enjoyed spending time with his children.
Beloved husband of Jennifer A. (Cashin). Devoted father of Katherine and Connor Ryan and the late John and Stephen Ryan. Son of Stephen and Doris Ryan of Belmont. Brother of Kathleen Osborne and her husband David of Wellesley and Karen Gurian and her husband Daniel of Wellesley. Son in law of Larry and Kathleen Cashin of Pembroke. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday 2-6 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Monday morning at 10. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery.
