McGONAGLE, James C. “Jimmy”, of Winthrop, suddenly, on October 2, 2018. He was 64 years old. Beloved husband of Sandra L. (Brown) McGonagle. Devoted father of Josh Carpenter of Danvers, Kimberly M. McGonagle and her husband John Nalen of Troy, NH and Christopher J. McGonagle of Winthrop. Dear brother of Christopher S. McGonagle and his wife Jean of Winthrop. Adored uncle of J.C. and Ashley McGonagle of Winthrop. Loving cousin of Paul, Stephen and Mark Murphy. Also survived by several other cousins and friends. Visiting hours will be held in the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Saturday, Oct 6, from 9:30-11:30am. A Funeral Mass will follow in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop at 12pm. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment will be private. Prior to his retirement, Jimmy was employed by Delta Airlines as a ramp agent for 33 years. After his retirement from Delta, Jimmy was presently working for Enterprise Rent-A-Car at Logan Airport.
