Obituary

Philip F. Minervino of Holliston (formerly of Weston and Cambridge) succumbed to cancer at his home August 13, 2018. A life long lover of things of beauty; he was a critically acclaimed architect, designer, antique toy collector and a builder of stone walls. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Georgia and Vincent Minervino in 1936. The first High School graduate in his family, he was a graduate of Pratt Institute and was an Officer in the U.S. Army. Phil owned his own architectural practice for many years in Cambridge specializing in educational and medical projects. Before starting his own firm he worked extensively around the world for Sasaki Associates and taught at the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Phil is survived by his wife Molly Minervino and their two children Max and Kayde. He is also survived by his sons Philip Minervino of Cambridge, Christopher Minervino of Dover and J. Stephen Minervino of London as well as Philip’s wife Diana and son Owen, Chris’ wife Deb and their daughters Olivia and Isabella.

A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Holliston on Monday, August 20th at 9:00 AM followed by a celebration of life at his family home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
