LUDLOW ~ Candice A. “Candy” Tavernier, 55, of Ludlow, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, August 9, 2018. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Ludlow on October 15, 1962, a beloved daughter of Shirley M. (Coughlin) Tavernier of Chicopee and the late Raymond A. Tavernier who was Called Home on June 8, 1987. She was raised and lived in Springfield before moving back to Ludlow in 2002. She was employed as a Personal Care Assistant in the area. Most of all, she was a loving mother and grandmother who showered her family with her love and affection. Besides her mother, she leaves her three loving children, Kimberly A. Nichols and her husband, James, Raymond T. Wilson, and Benjemin M. Beyer; her four cherished grandchildren, Anthony and Christopher Nichols, Faith Wilson and Anastasia Beyer; her dear sister, Michelle Belden and her husband, Kenneth; her dear partner, Robert Beyer; and her dear nieces and nephew. Her relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday morning, August 16, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a Prayer Service at 11 a.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
