HOLYOKE ~ Annette Y. (Morin) Miner, 76, of Holyoke, was Called Safely Home on Saturday, July 28, 2018. She passed into Eternal Life at home surrounded by all the memories she loved and cherished. She was born in Holyoke on July 8, 1942, a beloved daughter of the late Fortuna and Marie (Beauregard) Morin. She was raised in Holyoke, attended Holyoke schools and was a lifelong resident of the city. She was a communicant of the former Precious Blood Church in Holyoke. She volunteered at the Saint Stanislaus bingo and was an avid bingo player. During her leisure time, she enjoyed reading romance novels and watching her beloved Red Sox. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who showered her family with her love and affection that was returned to her a thousand fold. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend, Richard F. “Dick” Miner who was Called Home on December 17, 1976. She leaves her six loving children, Debbie Mascaro and her husband, Ralph, David Miner and his wife, Sharon, Dean Miner and his wife, Terri, Dennis Miner, Donald Miner and his husband, Efrain, and Darran Miner and his wife, Andrea; her eleven cherished grandchildren, Christopher Mascaro and his wife, Stephanie, Shana Miner, David Miner, Jr. and his fiancée, Elissa Dingman, Jamie Neveau and her husband, Cameron, Julie and Natalie Miner, Stephanie and Timothy Miner, Tori and Emily Lucia, and Colin Miner; her two cherished great-grandsons, Benjamin Mascaro and Julian LaFlamme; her dear sister, Jeanne Nelson; her dear brother, Richard Morin; her two dear sisters-in-law, Barbara Morin and Linda Kobus; her dear brother-in-law, Walter Goshea; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the Miner and Morin families. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her nine dear sisters and brothers, Vivian Goshea, Theresa Boardman, Beatrice L. “Bea” Williams, Catherine Morin and Rene, Roger , Leo, Joseph and Ferdinand Morin; and her dear sister-in-law, Cindy Morin. Her family will receive friends on Thursday morning, August 2, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. which will be followed by a Prayer Service at 11 a.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her Burial will follow the Prayer Service at Precious Blood Cemetery, 65 Willimansett Street, South Hadley, MA 01075.
