CHICOPEE – Helena J. “Lena” (McHugh) Bolduc, 80, of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Thursday, July 26, 2018. She passed into Eternal Life at home. She was born in Tuam, County Galway, Ireland on March 10, 1938, a beloved daughter of the late Michael J. and Margaret (O’Brien) McHugh. She was raised and educated in Tuam and immigrated to Springfield in 1957. She was a communicant of Saint Anne Church in Chicopee. She leaves her beloved husband of 59 years, Robert R. "Bob" Bolduc; her six loving children, David Bolduc and his wife, Sue; Debbie Salamon and her husband, Doug; Steven, Jim, Sheila, and Kathleen Bolduc; her cherished four granddaughters and five great grandchildren; her three siblings in County Galway; and her sister, Mary Barrepski of Longmeadow. She was predeceased by six siblings. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 beginning at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Fairview Chapels (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 9:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her committal service will follow the Mass at 1 p.m. in the Chapel at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA 01001. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The funeral home parking lot is located in the rear.
