Francis E. “Ted” Damon of Canton passed away July 8th at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brockton, he was a lifelong resident of Canton. He graduated from Canton High School Class of 1964 and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He was the Owner and Operator of Damon Express in Canton for many years before retiring. After selling Damon Express he worked CEI Demolition of Norfolk before retiring in 2016. Ted was an avid boater, fisherman and animal lover.
Beloved husband of Deborah A. (Duggan). Father of Stephanie L. Lindsay and her husband Duane of Walpole, Michael F. Damon and his wife Samantha of Richmond, VA and Tracey E. Damon and her fiancé Matthew Egan of Easton. Grandfather of Paityn and Nicholas Lindsay. Brother of Dennis Damon and his wife Louise DiGennaro of FL. Visiting hours the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Funeral Home Thursday morning at 10. Burial private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society 125 S. Huntington Ave Boston, MA 02130. | |||||
