MARLEY, Elaine M. (Sacco), of Winthrop, passed away on July 2, 2018. She was 91 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert L. Marley Sr. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Margaret (Erickson) Sacco. Devoted mother of Charlene A. Marley, Susan M. McLaughlin and her husband John, Brian L. Marley and his wife Stacie, Albert L. Marley Jr. and his wife Eileen, Lois E. Marley and the late Kevin Marley all of Winthrop. Adored grandmother of Craig, Danielle, Lauren, Kenneth, Alexandra, Jennifer, Kevin, Tyler, Dena and Brianna and great-grandmother of John, Marli, Ryan and Karleigh. Dear sister of Joan Welch of Stoneham, Carol Piasecny of FL, Bobby Sacco of Winthrop, Jake Sacco of North Conway, Mark Sacco of Marshfield, Karen Joyce of Manchester, NH, Kathy Butler of Manchester, NH and the late Lois Hickey of East Boston, Kenneth Sacco of Revere, Steven Sacco of Manchester, NH and James Sacco of East Boston. Elaine was also the longtime companion of Charlie Zuffante. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will take place on Friday, July 6, in St. John the Evangelist Church 320 Winthrop St. Winthrop, from 9:30-11:30am, followed by a Funeral Mass in the church beginning at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will follow in Winthrop Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Elaine M. Elaine was the proud owner and director of Mrs. Marley’s Nursery and Preschool, located in Winthrop for over 40 years. She was also a member of the Sons of Italy-Winthrop Lodge #2057.
