Theresa A. (Boisclair) Archambault

CHICOPEE – Theresa A. (Boisclair) Archambault, 89, of the Willimansett section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, June 28, 2018. She passed into Eternal Life at Wingate at West Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on May 14, 1929, a beloved daughter of the late Edmond J. and Dorilla (Hooper) Boisclair. She was raised in South Hadley and lived there for many years before moving to the Willimansett section of Chicopee around 1959. She was last employed at the former Ampad Company in Holyoke. She was a wonderful homemaker to her family and showered them with her love and affection which was returned to her a thousand fold. During her leisure time, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking and baking. Most especially, she enjoyed playing bingo and meeting up with her many friends. She was a communicant of the former Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Willimansett where she was a member of the Ladies of Saint Anne Sodality. Most recently, she was a communicant of Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Chicopee. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lucien E. Archambault who was Called Home on May 15, 1985. She leaves her three devoted sons, Ronald L. Archambault and his wife, Caroline, Robert E. Archambault and his wife, Karen, and Marc G. Archambault and his wife, Cynthia, all of Chicopee; her five cherished grandchildren whom she adored, Leanne Janos and her husband, Gregory, Luke Archambault and his wife, Lindsay, Robert E. Archambault, Jr., Justin Archambault and his wife, Samantha and Brandon Archambault and his fiancée, Regan Patten; her two cherished great-grandsons, Chase Janos and Lincoln Archambault; her dear sister, Florence Turner of Cincinatti, OH; her three dear sisters-in-law, Gabrielle Miller of Rutland, VT, Germaine D’Astous of Easthampton and Alice Archambault of Agawam; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the Archambault and Boisclair families. Her funeral will be held on Monday morning, July 9, 2018 beginning at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 8:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her burial will follow the Mass at Notre Dame Cemetery, 63 Lyman Street, South Hadley, MA 01075. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
