Lorraine S. (Dunphe) Kavanaugh, age 74, of North Easton, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the beloved wife of Edward L. Kavanaugh, to whom she was wed on March 5, 1983.
Born in Taunton, MA on May 16, 1944, she was a loving daughter of the late Milton and Lilias (Schell) Dunphe.
Lorraine grew up and was educated in Taunton. She had made her home in North Easton for the past twelve years and had formerly run her own house cleaning service.
A member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Taunton, Lorraine loved her ministry helping people to know God and the purpose of his work. She also enjoyed photography and floral arranging with an unlimited number of friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted sister and brothers Marie Perra of Norton, Michael Dunphe of Taunton and Dennis Dunphy of Tennessee. She was the dear daughter-in-law of Theresa Kavanaugh of North Easton, and is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as many close friends.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend her memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 2 Vaillancourt St, Taunton on Saturday, June 30th at 2:00 P.M.. Burial will take place privately at Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
