FALL RIVER – Emile M. Fontaine Jr., 78 of Fall River, passed away on Saturday June 9, 2018 at home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Santos) Fontaine for 55 years & the son of the late Emile J. Fontaine & Irene (Corriveau) Cote. Prior to retiring, Emile worked for Duro Finishing and was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved to watch sports, read, and spend quality time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Emile is survived by his children: David Fontaine, Jeffrey Fontaine, & Melinda Fontaine, Michelle (Fontaine) Cordeiro; brothers: Robert & Wayne Ameen; 7 grandchildren: Jason, Derek, Kyle, Ryan, Cameron, Nerissa, & Morgan; 6 great grandchildren Hayden, Jaydah, Kyleigh, Kaiden, Ryley, & Keston; nieces & nephews.
Emile’s wake will take place on Thursday, June 14th from 5-8 P.M. w/ a service at 7:00 P.M. and military honors to follow in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River, MA.
